View Full Version : BlueStreak Issue

Hello everybody, i decided to mod a bit more of HCE--and just as usual, i run into problems that keep me up way past 5 AM. Basically my issue is with BlueStreak forgetting about pieces of my character model (the helmet, backpack, and the inside of a piece of armor thats visible).
I would try using other things like reco's jms weight injector, but it seems that it wont run so bluestreak is my only option. Anybody else encounter/fix this?
EDIT: narrowed down the problem to bluestreak--it stops exporting geometry data after it reaches a certain point. I tried blitzkrieg...but then it says there are no actors to export, which is silly.
Ghost, any ideas whats causing it to cut export of my model?

IIRC, Bluestreak doesn't support regions.

If Blitkrieg is saying there are no actors then there is obviously something wrong with your setup.

i tried linking the geometry to a single frame (that would export in both blitzkrieg and bluestreak) and the same thing happened--less geometry in bluestreak. there is also definitely soemthing else up with the bones if i cant export with blitzkrieg...but this is happening with every model i export. A large chunk of it is just missing.

Bip01 is hidden and the geometry is linked to Bip01 Pelvis correct? If you do that and want to use mcs anims, just go into the model file and make the child/parent node setup just like in cyborg.gbxmodel. Sorry if I'm giving you information you already know. :\

im not using a biped system, im using bones...and i think thats the problem. I just messed around with the jms and i found that it doesnt see "bip01" as a node, or any bone labeled bip01 unless its an actual biped system. ill try that later.

Oh, then try adding frame before all of them... I'm serious.

No, bad idea. If you tell me the version I can tell you what my program recognizes as a node.

1.0.1. But seriously, its not the nodes. Its the actual geometry not being exported correctly.

am cry.
still, i hope you get it to work. why do you need to use bluestreak rather than blitzkrieg?

Because it exports vert weights.

yeah this error kinda happened to me....i found a way to make it run by blitz...just link the pelvis to a "frame body" after this ull be able to export it....then open the jms in notepad and erase it (the frame).......i didnt keep on it cuze i dont like to use the jahrains weight injector cuze it freezes too much...so i just fixed somethings till it got into bluestreak, so i dont expect its going to work by this method

If your using bluestreak and bones just link geometry to Bip01 Pelvis, have no Bip01 or anything, and export it with blue.
