The Sergeant Johnson glitch must be decently old considering the video was posted in November. I guess it's kinda meh. I don't really care for glitches like these.

If you skip the control room by going up onto that ledge with johnson, does the door to the pulse generator still open?

I kill Johnson in beginning and hide his laser somewhere, after you kill 343 and come out, the laser you left behind will have infinite ammo!

The Sergeant Johnson glitch...

Sargeant is correct spelling depending on where you're from. No need to start picking out spelling errors unless they're legit.

/offtopic

Well, I'd like to think that Johnson didn't snuff it. We're all rather fond of the guy... but remember, he's not dead as long as we remember him! Besides, I've killed him many times in Halo 1, so... no big deal, right?

He lives in the USA and so do I, and here, we spell it Sergeant. That should make it legit enough. =p

Also, I should try out that infinite Spartan Laser thing. Maybe sometime tomorrow.

Johnson was from Chicago.

Anyway, I didn't know that some people spelled it sargeant... Our country spells with the British system and we still say Sergeant.

OMG I made a mistake, sue me. I would love to edit it but sadly whenever I try to edit the title nothing changes. So please stop talking about my spelling error.

noob you're wrong again. he goes through basic, then he does an anti-terrorist campaign against the innies at another foriegn system. after a few missions and operations and such, he returns to earth on leave, but his aunt dies and then he goes AWOL, gets shipped to harvest, participates in the battle of harvest, and the next time we see him is in Halo 1. He doesn't return to earth until halo2

so really, he gets shipped out to basic training and then doesn't return until he gets that time off (read the books for a more in-depth storyline)

of course, looking into it more, when you read the books, and play the games thinking that it's the same general storyline you notice big gaping holes in the overall storyline.

like for instance, the brutes have armor and spikers in Contact Harvest, but in the games the brutes did not intherit such technology until after the forced persecution of the elites.

there are other spartans throughout the series, yet the games do not mention anything about the other teams (you'd think Cortana would keep tabs on the others).

the designs of the levels change too (a covenant cruiser's interior in halo 1 does not look the same as a covenant cruiser's interior in halo 2 or 3) granted, i know most of it has to do with innovations in graphics development technology, but it almost seems irresponsible if someone didn't go back and fill up those holes/touch up the storyline so that everything flows together smoothly.

Meh, I still like the story either way; doesn't really bother me that say, a h1 cruiser doesn't resemble h2 or h3, as long as I get answers to the questions I may have, I'm satisfied.

If the Sergeant was to make a return in a future Halo game, I'd love to see him as some sort of Infected Flood General, Kerrigan-style. Since he can resist the Flood, he'd likely end up in some final cutscene finally making the right moral choice after a tremendous battle of minds against Gravemind, and probably destroy whatever the latest Flood infestation was. On that note, I'd really like to see the Halo franchse take us where the Flood originated from.

But what are you going to shoot with them? sentinels? flood? If there were some brutes to fry that would make it interesting.

They made co-op for a reason =/ Shooting each other is so much fun.

The person I said was American was supersniper and n00b thought I meant Johnson, but I didn't bother posting because it wasn't a big deal. Tbh you shouldn't have brought any of the conflict back up since it's long since been dead.

I don't think warsaw read the thread. Also yeah I am american and I did spell Sergeant wrong but I cannot edit the title when I edit my first post so it is going to stay spelled wrong unless someone with more stats wants to change it for me.
