NEED HELP WITH HALO [Archive]

hey can you point me tward some solutions for this please. whenever i play halo not CE, whenever i try to talk with chat, sometimes (mostly all the time) my computer crashes... wtf? ive installed and reinstalled it millions of times it doesnt help..

I used to never have this error before, so wtf?

Help please?

Try reinstalling again, because you're clearly doing it wrong.

Yeah I have a few.

Try to post threads in the right section so they don't need to be moved. Less caps in the thread title would be nice as well, thanks. Also, you didn't bold your font enough.

Oh and your computer is probably unstable.

Did you uninstall and then install it again? I heard somewhere the reinstall function is screwed up, though I may be wrong.

I love it how people tend to not even get to the second BOLDED sentence before posting "DID YOU REINSTALL?"

Since it's chat, its an external file that might be missing--try changing the font type or perhaps the type-box (the grey thing) to see if its causing te problem.

Try running msxmlenu.msi that's in your Halo CE/redist folder.

What exam said was Valid WOL.

i've had problems RE-installing Halo that i couldn't fix until i uninstalled it and then Installed it.

Does haloce.exe pump out a debug.txt or does only HEK do that?

Well if no one knows for sure, you might as well check it. See if there are any logs for today's date.
