I've got a problem with a biped rig I have, the vert's are stretched to the center of the map as if they aren't weighted, but I know every vertex is weighted. According to this post (http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?p=1172348&highlight=bones#post1172348)at gearbox, bipeds with more than 40 bones fuck up and every vertex with a node index greater than 40 stretches to the center of the map. Does anyone know a way to overcome this? Also, here's my debug.txt:

I noticed that the h1 cortana rig has exactly 40 bones, seems like bungie was aware of the issue but never fixed it.

Maybe put less bones? :V

In all seriousness, through, I wouldn't have the slightest clue. Sorry. :(

Why would you post? Don't post unless you have an answer to the question at hand.

What kind of biped are you making that has over 40 bones?

All I can think of is just getting rid of a few bones and "faking" it by having parts of the biped modeled in a commonly-used position for the biped. (EX. no ankle bone, just a foot that sticks out at a right ankle to the leg, or stiff hands, or no facial expressions, etc.)

By the way, I know that it would look like crap. However, remember you are working on a seven-year-old game. >_>
