Looks ok, nothing ultra special, pretty decent for a free game, I just hope it isnt littered with advertising.

ha
like EA is a charitable orginisation.
I just wish they wouldn't make a cartoony game this soon after tf2. tf2 was cartoony in more than just visual style, and that worked for this. what makes this game any less serious than any other battlefield game asides from the graphics?

I really liked that promo video. At first, it filled me with rage at the thought of Yet Another Fucking Ww2 Game (YAFWG), then it filled me with lols. Looks really awesome to me.

Too short of a timespan after TF2, and it'll have consequences for that.

Yeah, but how long will you seriously play it? YUOu'll get bored/fed up in no time. Yes its playable, I'll probably ony play for a few weeks.

Like n00b said, too soon after tf2, and tf2 was WAY more than just cartoon style.

I got some lulz, I'd play it. I like how they used what is essentially a remix of Snoken's "The Pwn3d Life" for the music. It fits.

Too short of a timespan after TF2, and it'll have consequences for that.They referenced it on the site

Yeah, I just read that. It's good that they acknowledge it, but the best thing to do is to keep all the comparisons aside and just go for what feels good. I should do that too ;-;

When this comes out, it'll probably be a hit on those low-end school PCs (the best non-iMac computers at my school have 2.8Ghz P4's, 256 MB shared RAM, and Intel Extreme Graphics Garbage 2), being a free game that can run on just about anything, and that can be stored on a flash drive for easy access.

When the teachers aren't looking, CSv1.5, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, and the first Command & Conquer will dominate the computers. This game will be the next one. In addition, it should run on my ASUS EEE PC (it was in no way meant for gaming, but the Half-Life 1-based games run fairly well at the native res).

Man, you can play drive-based mutliplayer games on school computers? I can't access any ports that are used for multiplayer at my school...

Mr Buckshot

we don't, we run them off flash drives

The ports would still probably be blocked... unless there's a way to h4x past them. I sure could go with playing some TFC and Half Life at school.

I can't run exe's at school, unless their self contained (no extra referenced files) and in a zip folder :v

I had some torrents that could play hl2 nonsteam, unfortunately torrents didn't work at school ;-;

EA making a free game?

Where's Sparta when you need it?
