One of these:
http://bfgtech.com/bfgr88768gtxe.aspx

The original BFG 8800 GTX 768MB graphics cards. I want another one so I can SLI them, but they are now a legacy product. Has to be able to ship to Canada and have no more then a $400 maximum price. Prefer new, but I doubt there are many out there.

I would personally buy a 9 series, or a gts. like you said, these are now a legacy card.

1) I want SLI.
2) Two 8800 GTX cards are still the best.

2. Except they aren't...a single HD3870 X2 beats it (2x 8800GTX) out, as do two GeForce 8800 Ultras, etc.

Also:

Have at it.

Not in any of the reviews I've read, so far two 8800 GTX's are still the best (excluding two 8800 Ultras). They beat out single 9800 GX2's as well as single 9800 GTX's.

One 8800GTX just about matches the performance of the 9800GTX. I would buy another 8800GTX, but only if you need it. I'm still waiting for a good reason to buy a new card.

Crysis + 1920x1200.

I need it.

One HD 3870 X2 beats out TWO GeForce 8800 Ultras, that's what I should have said. It's only by a small margin, but it still beats it. And then when you Crossfire that (as soon as the next driver release), you effectively have twice the power of two GeForce 8800 Ultras at two-thirds of the cost. Check Tom's Hardware for a detailed review.

Meh, your money. Two 8800GTX is good, but not the best, just thought I'd point that out in case you wanted to maximize benefits. For the price of one 8800GTX, you can get a single HD3870 X2 which has slightly more power than two 8800 Ultras.

Was the Price Grabber link any help?

Is there really a reason to have 2 8800s? It's not like its a weak card. And if Crysis is the only game you need it for, then you're really wasting your money for extra performance on just 1 game.

^ditto that

every comment about MP has been saying it's shit.

Jesus, if I had waited until this year to buy graphics cards, I could have gotten something a lot better than my 8800GT

no not really.

the new 9 series arnt that great of an improvement.
the new radeons have stepped up but still it's not a "ditch my redundant 8800" kind of situation. your card will still own :)

Lord of the Rings Online (DX10 MMO), I have to turn down the settings from "Ultra High" to "Very High", then to "High" just for raids.

I want my smooth DX10 with 150 people battling.

So 400$ for one game? If your running vista, you might want to disable soem of the visual themes while playing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the 800GTX like one or the top 5 cards on the market?

Two games (Crysis+LotRO), plus all the new ones that will be DX10. I already disable the desktop composition and such.

The 8800 GTX is, but if you look at BFG, the went and retired the original, and now they only sell the "OC", "OC2" and "OC2 Water-Cooled"...

I guess I'll just have to watch Ebay.

Was the Price Grabber link any help?Uh, what? Just ignore the above post.

Nothing is wrong with getting another 8800gtx, plus you have more video memory for upcoming games.

Also,
Price grabber link was NOT any help, even the used version was an "OC" version...

EDIT: Just out of curiosity here... Could I SLI my BFG 8800 GTX with the same eVGA card without "many" issues?

Yes, pretty sure the two cards will run at the speed of the lower clocked one

I can confirm this as being a yes.

My 8800 GTS still outperforms your single GTX though xD. You'd better fix that :D.

Considering how cheap 8800 GTXs have gotten, go for it. Hell, if you have a board/PSU that supports it and the cards are cheap enough why not go for Tri-SLI for ultimate lulz power. Normally I'd question why you are paying that much for 2 games, but considering how cheap they are tri SLI would actually be an option for you =P.

GTS's don't outperform GTX's by much if at all... Again, I haven't read many reviews on that though.

Put it this way, LotRO is like "the" game I play, I'll upgrade my PC just for it atm.

Me, I am just going to bide my time until June, when the Radeon HD4850, HD4870, and HD4870 X2s come out (all of them R770 and sporting GDDR5, and the X2 having up to 2GB of it).

I suspect the GeForce 9900 (GT200) will release almost immediately afterwards for you nVidia people, so if I were you, I would just hang on until then. It almost isn't worth buying any graphics card at this point.
