Playing CS1.6 and stuck at 1280x720

I hate it.

In the ingame option, I tried to change the display mode to Normal instead of widescreen, but when I tried to change resolutions, nothing would show up and if I pressed OK/Apply, it would only revert to Widescreen.

I've tried using the launch command -w 800 -h 600, bah no dice.

I've removed the entire Counter-Strike folder in my steamapps. Nope.

I've reinstalled. Nope.

Help me, I don't want to be STUCK at this resolution.

Wait how? I'm using Steam, so I doubt I could use DXTweaker to run the .exe

What it works now...I guess I had to restart computer? Maybe not.

When I turned on my computer this morning, my screen was all messed up, refresh rate and resolution. So I changed it...I guess the game couldn't decide about the resolution I was running at...I don't know now =/
