Curious if anyone has had any luck getting a 360 controller to work with custom edition. The "Gamepad" section of the menu is all greyed out, but in Halo PC i can access it and use the controller without issue.
Also, sup guise.:awesome:

I remember using it while trying to test some things in Yelo last year, so it should work in CE, I don't know why yours isn't...

Got it.
Apparently you need to turn on the controller before you start halo.

it'll work ... but it'll suck cause you wont get any auto aim and also walking speed sensitivity doesnt work in MP

It works but there isnt a dead zone so if you want to walk for ward and you push the joy stick forward you will go forward, but if you push it about 5 degreesto the left or right you will go side ways. It makes your character seem drunk :(

You need to purchase the wireless adapter for windows. Unfortunately the play and charge kit is incapable of transferring data through the cable, only juice may flow through it.
You guys are completely right though. It's majorly sucks tbh. Oh well :(

I get decent results when using the XBCD drivers. The lack of aim assist makes it difficult, though.

Haha, you must have not tried long before posting here...
I use a chillstream controller for playing my flash games, halo, or any emulators I have.

Sorry for the bump, but wouldnt it be possible to implement auto aim into the maps, like using the xbox values? Or is it something in the xbe exe?
Edit: This is for campaign I swear, I hardly play online.

Yeah open the map in HMT and go into each weapon and add to the magnetism value.
You will need updated HMT plugins tho.
