I woke up to dl them.....and there ok. I cant help but feel kinda meh about them....then again they are fun. I figured out you can make a nice night effect if you use the last for FX filters in unison.

If you check it, you'll see that invisibility doesent work with pen &ink and nova FX. It makes you a "shadow people"

Blackout killed my xbox. I spawned in a match, starting shooting, and then the colors in the map started warping. Everything became a transparent green till my xbox started smoking and shut off.

Now the mexican dude on the support line said I wont get a new xbox until a few days from now :<

That sounds like when I bought the last two H2 maps. D/Led them, started a split-screen game, selected my H2 profile, and then the system died before I get could get to the next screen. I was without a 360 for a few weeks, and in the meantime those two maps became free. :(

If you mix Pen and Ink, ColorBlind, Cloomy, and Juicy FX you get a cell shaded, light amplifying effect.

I love them. AVlanch looks nothing like sidewinder, yet, it feels so much like it. I love it. Blackout is Alright, it's pretty much a pretty port of Lockout, and ghsot town remnds me of no remorse.

It's very intresting, the changes they made to the bases are similar to the Grove/wartorn base additions, with the ramps, ledges, and teles and such.

The mancannons are great, they close the map's size up just enough.

Without the back hallyway it's still awesome.

They look nice, ghost town the most as it's had the most detail added (due to it's environment that is, not that bungie was just lazy with the others). Haven't had a chance to see how these maps hold up in matchmaking...maybe if the new maps were actually new. Like, nothing before. Or just Danger Canyon, but Bungie goes out of their way to bash on Halo PC (I can think of three or four times in some podcasts where it was just like :superburn: )

I won't be buying the maps just yet, due to the exchange rate over here it'll cost me $16 AUD. And I want to make sure I can afford GTA IV on release, so I might just wait until they're free.

Avalanche STRONGLY reminds me of several Custom maps... A couple of parts really reminded me of CMTSnow Grove.

I don't play COD4 i use to have the game, it just got very boring and felt to slugish for me, although i am slightly bias, as i hate non-sci-fi games 90% of the time, i just don't see the initiative in games that follow current or past vendettas...but thats me.

Anyway, these Legendary Maps are awesome, played some Slayer on Ghost Town and a few Objective games on Avalanche absolutely awesome. I also got swung into

So stoked - my brother is home for the weekend and got some MS points to down the maps. Multi flag CTF on Avalanche is amazing.

Edit: I still can't believe how awesome Ghost Town and Avalanche are on DLC Objective. I've been playing in a party of six - it's just total annihilation. If you're in a team that's co-ordinated, it's just so much damn fun.

Absolutely Love em. Avalanche is so beautiful. Its also very fun to forge on. I also got out of the map a little while ago, but couldn't go far. I like the other maps too, but Avalanche is just epic.
