EAX EBX error

So I reinstalled CE on my laptop and I tried to boot up sapien and the first thing I get is a EAX EBX error.

I have never had CE installed on my laptop before, and I had just done a quick damage effect edit, and I don't know what I did that would cause an error first time I boot up sapien.

Anyone have any ideas?

isn't EAX that sound thing? Maybe check your sound card drivers, not sure though.

you corrupted a tag library. delete the .map files off your hard drive then reinstall them off the disk.

I don't think it has anything to do with tagsets because I reinstalled my HEK (all tags deleted- everything) and I still am getting it. However, it does not close instantly, it only closes after I begin to move my mouse around to expand the game window.

When I first tried it, two days ago, I had gotten the EAX EBX error although in the whole time I had done work I had edited 1 tag only.

Anyway, try safemode, or disabling your audio drivers.
