Uh yea.. been meaning to scan this stuff for some time now, finally got to doing it, hoping to get some good criticism, be as harsh or as liberal as you like, I'm trying to improve my drawing (even if I have sort of not been drawing much lately... needa get on that again...).
So firstly, much of my artwork draws on from a lot of my life thus far. Its sort of an emotional outlet I guess... idk... back in like... 2006, the only thing I'd ever drawn before in my life was like, crappy stick figures and maybe a few photoshop things, so I haven't been at it very long (when compared to real artists) I even felt like I was a "fake artist" if there is such a thing when I first started out. (often trace things, put stuff together, draw something, not like it trace parts of it and improve on it..) What made me realize I could draw was photoshop and the fact that you have the convinience of an undo key at your fingertips which I used heavily...
So enough talk... heres what I've scanned so far, and I'll most likely continue to update it as I get more items scanned onto my computer (note there in no particular order somethings may be old some might be new, who knows).
-Idea taken from the movie "Constantine" not exactly what I was going for, also one of the few sketches I bothered to color..
-Heh, funny story, I wanted to create a "unique" alien that was like the flood, but was based off the idea that it was robotic in someway (nanites consume you and build off your body)
Turns out I ended up drawing something that looked like the borg from startrek...
-One of my first "doodle drawings"
yes I was a very disturbed child...
-doodle... I have so many doodles
-Still Life, is there anythin else to say...
-Again.. still life.
- Lastly before I go to bed I'll leave you with one final sketch.
I think its bad luck to name something especially before its finished, it dooms almost any project/drawing I'm working on from the start. Right now I came up with the name "Into The Unknown" for this one...
