    alphas not workin'

So I made some bitmaps that have alpha layers. Put them through tool and the alpha doesn't show up like it should (checked in sapien and geurilla). Even tried compiling bitmaps I know that worked before and they came out with the same new faulty result. Had inferno run one that wasnt working right for me and it came out fine. So it's just my tool that is fucking with me. My question is, why wont my tool compile my alpha layers correctly, yet it works for other people?

I swear to god if you explain to me how to make alpha layers. I know how to do them and that is out of the question.

Have you set the bitmap tag to use alpha (explicit, interpolated, or 32 bit)?

And also, you can only have 1 alpha layer.

lol I've tried all 3. my tool is simply broken, that really is the only explanation I have. I can send the .tif to anyone besides me and it compiles the alpha perfectly.

Selentic and I had this problem recently. Try moving any d3ds you might have to a different directory. It might have been this, or it fixed itself...
