The irritating part is that Valve are blatantly advertising their new game in another, older game which has NOTHING to do with the subject of the former. It'd be like if CSS got a new Terrorist skin, the Pyro (only for people who pre-ordered TF2).

and my post had said from the beginning that it wasn't about the hat--it was about Valve's poor in-game advertising technique. I thought it cheapened the gameplay experience. But no, I must've been bitching about hats because the word "hat" was included in my post, right?:
