What's HD about this? It doesn't look like high res modeling in the slightest, just standard modeling using too many polies. Get a wireframe and a non-clay render.
You seem to have random detail in the middle of big peices.. then you have a sheet of metal which looks boring. (Poly Distibution).
If you can try and make the shapes and detail more interesting, it could be the render but atm it looks basic and boring.
Take a good look at these images:

Ill get a wireframe when im done, I almost finished the gun today in class (the newest model is on my laptop, so since im not on that, I cant even render what I currently have)
And ya, he does have higher poly than he needs too, I directly said I was gonna try and fix alot of that after I finished him in my first post.
I was planning on that. I was planning to make it so that part of his head, and that thing on his back, are both weak points. If the region for the head of body dies, the whole thing dies, etc. And if I dont go A.D.D. before I fully finish him, I was planning on making a sentinel FP aswell, and the gun fully usable by MC (but ive been able to keep focus for this long, I doubt it will last that much longer lol)
its based on the H1 sentinel (Whats the H2 sentinel look like?). Alot of it is modeling the details from the texture into the model.
Im suprized those sentinels are that similar to the orginal ones. And the things that use to be holes in the textures (which I modeled in as holes) are now rectangles.. I stated before that I was trying to get it done before I go A.D.D., so I am gonna keep it they way im going so I can try and get him fully done before then (hes gonna be different than normal sentinels anyways, im making him more custom and stuff (shinnneey))
I've long believed that recreating is just as good as making something new if you're a novice or intermediate modeler. When you're learning to model, you shouldn't also feel forced to learn to design things as well. Moreover, I think recreating things gives novices a lot of inspiration for their own works when otherwise they wouldn't know where to start.
True that. I'm a novice modeler and I play around with our fun pre-made models all the time. I haven't the inspiration to create something brand-new yet, but I just love to rework something old. Additionaly, I love to look at other people's creations to help inspire me to either design something of my own or impliment it into an old model.
