My post probably should have been in another thread but since this one turned into a general EVE topic I thought it'd just be easier.

Also, an explanation: The leader of an alliance decides it's a good idea to jump $700+ worth of plex (22bil isk) from nulsec to jita 4-4 (common station) in a paper-thin ship (kestrel) with an active war going on, lands 40km from the station (0m is docking range) and gets blown up by a tempest and a hurricane.

In short: Don't play EVE, it's full of retards. Most of which run large alliances.

i didnt understand any of that, but what from what he told me earlier, he lost about $1000 in real life money due to the assetts he could of sold in the game because of that.

It'd be fine if it was all his money, then it's only one person fucked over by what happened.


Also I'm yet to find out if all of it was bought with cash and not in-game assets.

Atlas alliance are about to lose their home system in about half an hour. Don't expect an awesome fight; they're a pretty terrible alliance who somehow managed to get 3 regions.

However, these live streams should give an idea of the scale of battles in Eve. Local count (number of people in solar system) at this post is 1240

Also worth mentioning: Eve has had some huge lag problems for the past few months. The streamers may desync or crash.
