Remember, .NET SDK integration in current 3ds max- Autodesk purchased the license to use Ephere's wrappers and have updated/modified it accordingly. Try this here:

Edit: Apparently they updated the docs for 2015. I haven't looked much of the updated sdk up, but hopefully the documentation is more useful. Though, from what I looked at, it's as cryptic as ever.
