Prolly the first thing I did when I got the game was remove the intros. So I figured mine as well share the work.
Inside is 3 wmv files that are .5 seconds long of black screen. view the readme inside.

Validated, but I have to ask why not just delete the three intro vids?

It won't.
All you do is delete the two videos in the movie folder in the Halo 2 directory =D.
It's two, not three, the first one is the credits =D

My problem isn't with the intro videos. I can skip those. It's the "Game Experience May Change During Online Play" warning that pisses me off. It lasts a full 10 seconds or so and you can't end it early. It's like the FBI warnings that you used to see on VHS tapes (i don't THINK you see those on dvds anymore....)
It doesn't last that long for me.
(You do see the FBI Warnings on DVDs actually, at least I did.)
I just reauthor DVD's with stupid long intros. Usually just to go straight to the menu...
