K, this isn't finished yet, and the main reason for that, is because I've been asking people ALL FRIGIN DAY (since 9 am, tis now 6 pm fyi) to get me a good side shot of the spiker in 3rd person, on the ground. There are details in the side of the gun that are indented so you cannot see in them in first person.
Note: The gun doesn't have a normal, specular or any other map YET that the halo 3 one has, so don't go "ZOMG ITS NAWT SHINEE LAIK THE HALO 3 ONE" on me k? In good time. You can also see a slight uvw wireframe over the texture, because I have the uvw as a transparent layer over the top, and there are parts that are allready coloured that aren't finished yet. The entire texture is subject to refining before I consider it finished.
First I'll highlight the areas I cannot see and hopefully one of those lucky people who got the beta can get off their royal asses and get me one little screenshot.
^ I need a picture of the gun in the same view as that one. Dead side on so I can see the side panel with screws thats indented away from sight (the grey area in the middle). It needs to be 3rd person, preferablly not being held by another player (so I can see the trigger area) and well lit sitting on the ground so I can see the areas I can't see at the moment.
Also, the clip will be on a seperate uv map, its just got a lambert shader on it now so don't start going "WTF WHAI IS IT GRAY".
and yes, it will be in SPV2, replacing the old spiker tags (wich Masterz is also redoing)
The old spiker tags may be released open source. I'm not sure, I remember Masterz talking about it. Don't hold me on that one.
