Remember that this model is one which I have modeled myself "AND" it was designed by sKc_Chains (C) ;) and firstly modeled by WMHunterTLS (Martyn Ball).

Comment on stuff I may need to improve on, thank you :D

Firstly, rendering.... look at this thread http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9328

Secondly, modeling. That is a not a gun, it is a gun shaped box with two cylinders jammed in the front end. Go find modeling tutorials. I would link you to maya modeling tutorials, but I don't use maya, I use max. So go find tutorials. Google.com is your friend.

You really need some proper renders before people can begin to judge it properly.

Well i've been practicing but im not getting very far, I may not be as
advanced as anyone else on here but im gettin there.
Iv watched a couple of those video tutorials, infact i'v watched one on http://www.3dbuzz.com which was on for 4 hours n ive been doing what ive learnt from that which is using multiple boxes for creating your model.
And no this isn't a duplicate account.

Im no good at plane modeling because i dont understand on how you do it, I keep on thinking you get the outline and then extrude but that didnt work, and martyn has been tellin me in school 2 try it, but i thought because i had got so far with this i'd finish it before i start on planes
is the lighting better on this 1http://file041a.bebo.com/3/original/2008/05/16/18/5806390551a7752118730o.jpg

Advice: stop making halo-based guns get a bunch of real guns, draw a concept and start modeling from that concept work. projects with the proper planning are usually more successful than those that were started on the spurr-of-the-moment.

it's an ok model for someone who has had only like a week's experience at modeling. as the others said, do try plane modeling it's more efficient and gives you far more options than box modeling.

That 'gun' is ridiculous no matter how good or bad the model is. Not only is there room for only the tiniest of mags, that bayonet looks like you'd stand a fantastic chance of stabbing yourself in the stomach.

Box modeling is BAD.

Start over, watch some tutorials. I'm sorry but that model is just not going to cut it. Wait, I'm not really sorry, that fails outright.

i can't see that tiny thing do any damage at all... at first i thought the picture was like squished together =\ also it would help if you give us a poly count too. where's the mag!? i can't find it in that picture!!!!! what does it use? a .1mm calibar?

What the hell, do you even know what you're talking about? Of course you made it with polygons, ALL MODELS ARE MADE FROM POLYGONS. Also, how the fuck do you spell "good" as "gud."

P.s. i dont wanna be a nerd no more

whats funny about this model to me is how poor of a gun it is, the model its self ain't bad, its just, not a gun... its, boxes, with stuff, and shapes... and stuff.

I agree study a weapon modeling tutorial, the models design for being a gun is way off I think, wrong design language. (my opinion, idk if its right).
