Indestructible
Determination that is incorruptible
From the other side
A terror to behold
Annihilation will be unavoidable
Every broken enemy will know
That their opponent had to be invincible
Take a last look around while you're alive
I am indestructible.

Since this is not just any band...Album is :awesome:

Silly retail kids, real fans get their music fresh from the recording studio before it goes into post.

/me huggles his Rise Against CD that is essentially a live version. It makes me giggle when I hear the final version and can point out all the changes.

Anyways, yeah, good stuff. Been listening to the preview on the radio and I wish I had the cash for this album.

Cmon, who else sees it?

That song is pretty good. I'm definitely buying the cd.

I'm listening to "Haunted" right now. I like the opening so far, some pretty good guitar in there.

From the looks of it, they didn't do any covers this album. I know "The Sickness" had "Shout 2000" and "Ten Thousand Fists" had "Land of Confusion", but I'm surprised this album lacks a cover.

Sounds ordinary.

Sorry.

Seems like they made an album for the sake of making one to me. Listened to the entire song, and it just sounds like little bits and pieces of all their songs thrown into one. Same formula, same tone colour, same tempo, solo right where I expected it to be.

The songs name should be Forgetable, because thats exactly what it is.

It's not different, it's not experimental, it's not exciting, it's disturbed playing it safe for their fans money, playing the same shit as always, with the exact same staple aspects of all their albums. See, this song, sounds like it could have been on any of the other albums. I hear no evolution, no exploration, no nothing.
Look at Korn, now that is a band you can admire, constantly experimenting with their music, changing like people do.

or for the people with a case of tl;dr:

BAWWWWWWWWWW

Different people look different at music. I agree, when I heard the ten thousand fists album you could have thought it was one lengthy song. But I don't care.

I don't look really at originality. I only look that the lyrics (which have to be damn good, intelligent, metaphorically and no cursing) sync with the music and how they deliver their message they want to get across.

Agreed, it's more of the same. The moment I saw this thread, I expected it to sound the same as the last album, and alas, it did... I still like it, but I'm disappointed that they don't have enough balls to change up the formula a bit.

needs moar creativity...

I agree by listening to this song, sounds like it could have came from another one of there albums. Idk, I guess thats ok, but I'd enjoy hearing something new from them a lot more, whether or not it was good, at least it'd be different.

At the same time, its always a good thing to have more of the same sound (when you get bored of there other songs theres always this...) except even then that will get boring because its the same "forumla" as other people put it over an over again.

The cover picture got me excited... the sound was, slightly too familiar.

they have progressed, just not in the style dano appreciates.

Look at the sickness, Heavy, dark and twisted,

Believe, more experimental, different types of chords, they went away from the sickness and lower sounding chords to more abstract rythems and beats. look at devour for instance.

10 000 Fists they began to play faster, add in solo's, much better basslines, and even better lyrics. Stricken, Over burdened

This is 10 000 fists 2.0 but it's still going to be good music.
and mb you havnt payed attention to some of the lyrics close enough mate.

Considering Son of a plunder is about musicians changing there music purely in the interest of capital gain so they can stand out, or Be the next big thing, but in the process loose touch with the reason they made music in the first place.
"Could you just Leave it alone, it doesnt have any soul
stop playing around, and pretending to know."

I hated that Linkin Park changed from what they originally were. I would have not cared if the Minutes To Midnight would have been Meteora 2.0 at all. Fuck originality, don't fix what's not broken.

I agree that this is 10.000 Fists 2.0 but still.

we havnt heard the entire album so we cant assume that every song will have the same pacing, formula, melody and lyrical composition.

from what i've heard there has been an improvement in the lyrics, and the guitar just seems more confident.
but it's nothing major, doesnt change the fact that 10000 fists was awesome.

The album cover is cooler than the music itself.
