Ask for hooker money. (good hooker money, not the ones filled with crabs)

lol, nice suggestions, guys. Yes, I like electronic stuff and hookers. I have PC, Ipod(old one), Xbox 360, and some other crap related to that. I seriously am thinking about getting a Zune. Someone tell me if they're any good.

They're cool, but they're huge in comparison to any Apple product.
Not supporting Apple, but that's just the truth.

Dang, I don't know. Should I buy the 80 GB Ipod or the 80 GB Zune? The Itunes store has movies, but Zune only has TV shows. Ipod has more playback time, but Zune can hold more. Any suggestions?

The iPod has larger modding community, whereas the zune not so much so as far as I know. I have an older 30gb Zune and would personally get an iPod rather than any Zune.

You actually buy your music? personally id go with the zune, I've never liked apple.

Get neither, go with an Archos 605 wi-fi. Excellent value for the money (30 gig version is ideal).

If you're a man, buy an Archos 705 or something similar. Not because of price, but because of sheer size.

I got an 80GB iPod only because I got it at an incredible deal through a friend who works for Apple. Its great for me because I only use it to play music in my car, use to work out with, and for any other minor things. I came to notice when using it as a video play on my last flight that it is kind of lacking. The Zune has a better and bigger screen, making it more ideal for video playback.

Honestly, it just kind of comes down to what you want from it, for me, I just wanted space and usefullness for what I needed it to do, and the 80GB iPod Classic was perfect for me, for others, the Zune could be more suitable.

Although my one major gripe with the iPod is it's headphones, I immediately purchased new headphones for mine because the stock ones never stay in my ear nor are they very appealing to a novice audiophile. The Zune has some great headphones stock.

My major gripe with iPods is their lack of features per dollar in comparison to other brands. iPods may have the best sense of design, but a Samsung, Archos, or iRiver player can offer the same features for a lower price, or offer more cool stuff for the same price.

Zunes fare slightly better but I'm not so keen on its copy protection shit and so on.

But like Atty said, getting a good discount on an iPod is nice, so if you are that lucky, go for that if you wish.

If the Archos 605 is beyond your budget, grab a 405 and be sure to invest in a 16 GB SD card as well.

Get the Zune.

The 3 day limit has been removed etc. People get ahead with the time. It's unmodable btw right now.

i was thinking about getting an Iriver or what ever the brand was a while ago. Great battery life, Had awesome codec compatability, so it could use just about anything and it was more like a portable harddrive then a Mp3 player.

so it didnt have to go through useless programs like Itunes and what ever zune used.

it jsut worked, and worked well for less money.
Just hard to get a 60GB version in australia :argh:

My bro used to have an iRiver. It was a long time ago so it wasn't a very big hd but it was really good for its time. I liked it because you could just plug it into windows media player just like that without having to deal with itunes or whatever, since you probably just use wmp for your music anyways.

basically what bod just said but with a personal experience and added postwhore.

i would of got one for my 18th but yeah the 60Gb i'd have to have inported to Aus, and then if something fucked out with it, it woiuld be nearly impossible to repair with its warranty,

30 GB is too small.

But i really really hate Pietunes

Go Zune. Eventually, there's gonna be a firmware update for games, for both the 1st and 2nd generation, and support for game development through Microsoft's XNA Game Studio. It's gonna be supa'-cool!

That 3 day limit is now a 3 play limit, I don't like that.

They do have games, sort of, it's just annoying to put them together and crap.
