View Full Version : frame animated texture question

I am working on a project and I decided to use the Blam engine through hek to test some game play issues out and I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge pertaining to frame animated textures and how to import them into a single .bitmap tag. An example would be the plasma grenade explosion animated image, or, more so... an animated image on a panel from a device_control.

I hope that any info given will serve more than just me in this field

You mean like sprites? There kinda hard to import you basically make a blue image with all the frames of the sprite on it. Then you have to compile the bitmap in tool. Edit the .bitmap tag that it creates and then compile the bitmap again. Look up a tutorial on www.halomaps.org they have one.
