OK.. Its been a while im trying to hang in there. Its been very busy for me. Going to college for programming and working as an IT for the government now. Back to the matters. Well during my free time I try to play around with my newly learned skills :). Well I decided to pick up my old project.

Those who used it before told me this and that. Like the script function is glitchy. GUI looks like crap. Not enough functions. I don't want to use your version of Guerilla or Sapien that was included. Wow only 4 scripts big woop.

Well for those who i disappointed the first time. I apologize. But with my new version you can do so much more now.
OLD VERSION BLAH

collision
build-cache-file

Well now i added a fully workable sound compiler. Both ogg and xbox.

Vehicle Tele
Rcon
Breakable Glass
Bsp testing
AI attack
AI follow
ai team
Ban name
Bsp Switching
Map Name
CutScene
UI
Map Mines
DeathBox
Vehicle Spawn

Im also adding more. Also if you have more post. Ill be happy to put them in.

Also The user can define Programs (guerilla and Sapien) (in testing)

It's been nice helping where I could on this, lots of work ahead of you still though, looking great for the amount of time you've put into this.

Your "select blah to blah" descriptions for Radiosity and .JMS compilation are reversed, but other than that, looks decent for people too lazy to type.

Personally, I prefer to use plain old tool, but I'm sure others will find this useful.

Well Ill see if i can find code to do that or if some does have the code tell me that would be neat.

If I might be so bold as to request a feature... it would be nice if there were an option to pop out a window that would show all the output debug text when you're running radiosity or compiling a scenario. Other than that, this thing looks pretty handy. : )

Looks pretty nice. If I could suggest one feature, would you have a small button somewhere that would allow you to add command lines to Halo CE, such as -dev, or just have a button that launches CE in devmode. Seeing as this program helps make map easily, it could also help test them easily.

Oh sry Ya i dont have a popup but you can check your debug file sry its under help menu tab.

Very useful. One thing I might add is the anti-aimbot script only because there have been many discussions on including it in all future maps lately.

Also will this have a button that links to the ghost's tutorial page??

Two questions...

...does Kornman's Guerilla work correctly with hud_message_text tags? Because I took a look at the tag after being saved and a lot had been deleted that I think was unused before...but I'm not sure.

...what the hell does it do? I don't see what you can do with it when changing the stuff.

V2 should have fixed that problem since it doesn't display the textbox for editing the text data (the textbox shouldn't be there in the first place since it doesn't support unicode correctly).

Sry Reaper Man ill fix that im not used to spelling stuff in english :(.

And Guerilla is a separate app.

Ok Im still having problems reading from a string list object from halo.

You should have a save script option (where it puts the script in a drop down menu for later use.)

That's if you don't already have that.

you mean like a "recent documents" feature like M$ word

also, would like to see Bungie's SP scripts that were extracted by ZTeam

korori

What do you mean exactly like basically import there sp scripts in the editor. And T1xAnton Ill talk to you about that on AIM.

demonmaster3k
July 1st, 2008, 07:04 PM
yea make it so that you have "template" versions of the scripts included in the zteam files so that everyone can use them (contain brief descriptions for scripting noobs like me in tooltips within the program).

or better yet, have a directory called "templates" as a sub-directory of the application's root folder in which the program will be able to scan for files with the .hsc extension and place them on a "toolbox" style palette within the program (i would reccomend using a tree list view attached to a docking pane with autohide capabilites)

korori

Ill take a look into that then. It may be on a later version.

UPDATE:
For those who do UI and Cutscene
you are now not on a limit anymore

I made it where you can put how many you want in there

Though i would not recommend over 300 or so it may crash... that is on both UI and Cuscene

I added shortcuts to halo dir , data folder , and tags folder for quick access

Ill try to finish up the last bit and release it.
__________________________________________________ __________________
Then on the next version (when and if i have time like this again)
Ill add recent scripts/ Zteam sp (with there permission)/ backpack script (ty CAD). Oh ya and where you can add your own model program link in it.
and Name it too :) those are just a few. Also Masters i havnt forgotten
hud_message_text being decompilabler. Ill have to toy with that for sometime though.
