The TvT meta has reached a stage where there's a beautiful escalation of tech and progression of units. That many ravens all using hunter seeker missile has been unheard of since fucking beta a year ago.

Terran is the best designed race in SC2, why can't protoss and zerg be that slick :(

seriously, they have unbelieveably good harrassment, cheap incredible pillars of their army that compliment every other unit they have (the marine), they are extremely cost effective, and have the biggest defenders advantage in the game which allows them to come back and win AFTER they fuck up incredibly bad.

not to mention the best macro mechanic which is enhanced by gold base's, and a tech line where 90% of all their unit's are on their main techline (everything except ghost's and BC's) AND they can change army compositions and openings any time they want.

Thats why it's the best.
terran just have so many incredible options, where as if your a zerg and you build a roach warren, it doesnt magically become a hydra den by moving the building 3 paces to the left.

Zergs have agility and map control and lategame vision.

Protoss have cost effciency and the biggest attackign advantage in the game (warp gates)

I don't dissagree, I'm just saying the reason for this is the Terran race has the least new ground to cover compared to the design of P and Z so it was easier to build a complete race.

While this is true and I'd love some P harass units (phoenixlol), it doesn't matter really. This game is played at a stupid high level and yeah terran is the most flexible but so what? The other races hold their own, the best player in the world is a Zerg and its all part of what makes the difference SC2 races unique.

What I do is hit the first button on the toolbar that switches back to the default BB Code mode and then start typing. That's only if I want to add shot tags or a quote, usually. Otherwise I like having the WYSIWYG style editor because I can just copy and paste webpage content (e.g. BF3 BattleBlog entry) and no have to worry about formatting.

The thing that concerns me is this Auto-Save thing in the Donor editor. What does that do? If I accidentally hit the back button on my keyboard, how do I get everything I typed back. I use an extension for Chrome called Lazarus. It saves anything I type into a web form every few words I type and there's drop down box near the top right of the web form to choose stuff I've written before (in case I close the browser or hit the back button accidentally). It used to work before I was upgraded to the new editor. I'm guessing the donor editor is some sort of special vBulletin web form plugin?

The cluster is called Messier 9, and contains hordes of stars swarming in a spherical cloud about 25,000 light-years from Earth. The object is too faint to be seen with the naked eye, and when it was discovered by French astronomer Charles Messier in 1764, the scientist could only resolve it as a faint smudge that he classified as a nebula ("cloud" in Latin).

Now, though, the Hubble Space Telescope is powerful enough to make out more than 250,000 individual stars in Messier 9, in a new picture released today (March 16). The bluer points indicate hotter stars, while the redder stars are cooler.

Messier 9 is what's known as a globular cluster, containing some of the oldest stars in the galaxy in a clump that is thought to have formed together when the universe was much younger. These stars, which are about twice as old as the sun, are made of different materials than our star. They tend to lack the sun's heavier elements, such as oxygen, carbon and iron, which were only present in larger quantities when the universe was older.

Hubble's new photo is the most high-resolution image ever taken of Messier 9, and reveals the ancient cluster as never before. So many details of the stars are visible, despite the fact that the whole image spans an area no bigger than the size of the head of a pin held at arm's length.

The more than 20-year-old Hubble Space Telescope launched on April 24, 1990. Since then, it has been visited five times by space shuttle crews for repairs and upgrades, and is still in great shape, scientists say.

Hey it would be just fine in windows 7 as long as NO ONE LOADS THE FONTS

But NASA (and other organizations) come up with new hardware plans and ideas all the time. The reason some of them don't get made isn't because "well what if it doesnt work the first time", reasons vary from thing to thing. For instance Project Orion (http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2011/jul/17/project-orion-road-not-taken-space/), a theoretical (and fucking awesome) ship powered by nuclear explosions. We have the technology to build it. If we built it, it could revolutionize space exploration. We don't build it because it would violate treaties that ban nuclear tests in space. Other ideas never come to fruition because $$$, or because it simply isn't necessary. When they launch telescopes however, they do use increasingly awesome hardware, like the James Webb.

I'm not talking AI/Autonomous vehicles here though, that's just a bad idea. You want to have remote-controlled vehicles so you get the skill and expertise of a human pilot, but the capabilities and lack of death of a completely mechanical vehicle. For example, the F-22 Raptor (and many other fighters) can technically out perform the pilot. That means that the aircraft is capable of performing maneuvers that would leave a human unconscious due to G-Forces and the like.

It's not hard to make a computer that will stand up to a little bit of tossing about, look at the Toshiba Toughbooks or any custom-built LAN case built with hardware integrity in mind. I've seen people suspend HDD's in mid air using high tension rubber-bands so they absorb some vibration and everything.

Hell, I could build you something that would work. Just give me some Intel SSD's to put in a RAID-60 array for redundancy and performance as well as passive cooling for all the components. Put them in a box with some fans on the front and back and bam, you've got yourself something that can stand up to "intense vibrations".
