The trailer looked good, until he turned into the hulk. :/

Didn't they already make a hulk movie like 4 years ago >_>.

Its a sequel :omfg:

I saw a First Look thing on HBO (no, not that HBO) earlier, it looked pretty cool but I'm not so sure about it. It might be worth seeing.

Not a sequel. This is a standalone movie.

Look for references to Iron Man. There are a few of them.

And good movie. Just got back from it. Surprisingly empty theater.

The Incredible Hulk has to be the lamest comic book hero of them all.

I went to see it, thinking it looked pretty fucking stupid.
Honestly, I liked it, almost as much as Iron Man..
Its worth seeing to non believers.

I don't really want to see it, but Norton looks damn appealing when hes green.

Norton makes any movie gold. I'll definatly see this eventualy just because I haven't seen him in a single bad movie.

Wow....it was actually good.
Not monumentally awesome but good.
The sequal to Iron Man and Hulk is going to be a joint sequal :/

Just to let you all know, this isnt a sequal, its not a continuation either, first Hulk movie was bollocks, this movie is a "replacement", an second attempt to make a decent movie. This one actually looks good, I'll see it, probably on dvd rather than cinema.

The ending totally fucking caught me off guard. "Is that- no - wait - wtf?!" I couldn't believe that that could ever happen in a film, but whatever. For the film, it was a combination of great acting by Edward Norton and Tim Roth, but the screenplay was boring and lackluster. The most exciting part of the movie, for me, was the chase in the favelas in Brazil. That was some cool scenery!

The trailer for hulk seemed pretty exciting, but I've noticed a huge trend with comic book movies. The stories that make it into films are usually the ones where the hero battles another version of himself, or an equivalent. What I mean is this

Spider man 3: Spiderman vs Venom. what is venom? Why hes a fusion of alien and man that has copied spidermans powers (and looks way cooler)

Iron man: Iron man vs Iron monger. What is Iron monger? Another guy in a suit

Hulk: Hulk vs that other genetic monster guy.

I'd really like to see a change. Its starting to get old.

You do realize that comic movies are...based off of comic books. Most of which were written years ago, so its not like their just going to make up a villain.

It was good but there could have been many ways it could have been better.

Well yeah but I believe all the marvel heroes have quite a variety of villains to choose from.

HULK SMASH

'twas alright. Much better than the other recent Hulk movie, but that's not saying much. It was an entertaining two hours, but I'm not really interested in seeing it again.
The movie can pretty much be summed up by this:
At the end, when Tony Stark made his cameo, I was thinking "man, I wanna watch Iron Man again!"
In other words, I didn't care about the movie I had just seen. Completely eclipsed by the good superhero movie from this summer.

The Incredible Hulk movie was... in all honesty... freaking sweet lol. But that is just my opinion. It won't be too long now til the combo movie of Ironman, the Hulk, and all the other characters from that comic series are teamed up doing stuff.

It's such an overly common theme nowadays, tho- in fact, almost every recent super hero movie I can think of has this problem:
The superhero always ends up fighting against the guy who got the same power as the hero but abused it.
Spiderman 3 had venom, Iron Man had the guy in the other iron suit thing, The Hulk had the Other Hulk, heck, even in The League of Extra-Weird Gentlemen Jeckel/Hyde was against the guy with the serum, the immortal vampire chick fought the immortal guy, the invisible guy fought the other invisible guy...

I mean, it's all well and good the first time you see it, but at least half of the super hero movies that come out these days have that same "power vs responsibility" theme, embodied with the villain abusing the power that the hero has. :/

Hulk is acceptable because the whole point of the Hulk is that everyone wants his power. Iron Man was pretty terrible when it came to good villains; that was the main flaw of the movie for many people. Haha, don't mention Venom though. He was in Spiderman 3 for like 4 minutes.

Still, I see what you are saying, and agree. It's a common theme that gets kinda annoying, and the timing of all these superhero movies at once made it a little more obvious.

I didn't want to go see the movie, but my friends did. Honestly, it was a stupid movie. I want my $9 back. :(

Ex: It's just tacky how only the two important characters survived the helicopter crash at the end.

Don't you guys know anything about movie physics? That's just how it works- "fatal" crashes are only fatal to supporting characters and extras.

I thought it was a great movie, better than iron man in fact. Although, that might just be an illusion from the fact that I had lower expectations going in than with iron man.

Although it is pretty stupid how no bullets, or anything but that other hulk could harm him.

I'm pretty sure they did. Plenty of times he had a bunch of cuts and shit after a helicopter battle etc.
