I've never played the game, and speaking simply by what I've seen in those screenshots: What's so great about a single player World of Warcraft? I hope the plot and junk are deep and involving. Also, agree with what everyone is saying about the art direction.

Didn't look that cartoony to me. Maybe I wasn't watching hard enough. :/. Either way, I never really payed attention to story and stuff in Diablo, my friends just sort of forced me to play it to grind shit with them.

i dont think i ever grinded for the sake of grinding in diablo. i just did the quest and followed the storyline and i went up levels while doing that.

I loved Diablo 1. Diablo 2 was awesome as well. Hopefully this will be great too. Graphics look a bit.....the visual style, I was concerned with when introduced with Starcraft 2, but this really does NOT work well with the games atmosphere. Some of the screens look ok, but others.....

Blizzard is more worried about their customers being able to actually play the game without a hitch. Is that really something to complain about? I'm sure that they know how to "stylize" the game so it keeps up with the series and it's feel.

Yea, not really... I played D1 and 2 all the way through, just cause of the hype... I did not think they were anything special.

Starcraft on the other hand... It was and still is, the best of it's sci-fi strategy genre. So they better not fuck up SCII.

I totally agree with you Freelancer, I loved both of them, but not enough to grind more than one character to 99; SC however I still play in school to this day and age.

I'm not liking the visual style of either sc2 or diablo3, it reminds me of warcraft3/WoW. Hopefully this lives ups to the other Diablo games.

I prefer the setting, style, and mood of starcraft, I always loved the white trash in space, butch, shit-talking, cigar-smoking, and genuinely funny human characters in starcraft. I particularly loved thank god for cold fusion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc9-2rb8TxU&feature=related).

Diablo 3 looks pretty fucking cool to me, although I haven't played more than an hour of any earlier Diablo.

Eh, I always sucked at the Diablo series. I could never get past the first act on either of the games. I had to go on B.net to see what the second act looked like for Diablo 2. I might check this out sometime after it comes out, but I'm a lot more excited for Starcraft 2.

Seems definitely fake. It's not too hard to take the gameplay video, add an overlay of the new Diablo III logo, and some extra text, and then hit some keys while it's going along. Notice how this came out on June 30th, when Diablo III was announced on June 28th. I would watch more, but I gave up at the point where he said "I gave them the idea for Male and Females classes, and stacked dungeons, lawl!"
