See it. It's amazing; easily one of the best animated movies of all time. Right up there with finding nemo. Nay, it's better than nemo. What really got me is how much depth it had, while having the characters saying almost nothing at all. Right now it has a 96% on rotten tomatoes.

Anybody else seen it/is going to?

Looks like some dumb kids movie. What's going to keep me interested? Spoiler tag a plot summary, please.

The plot was very Disney. Even so, I loved it. It was fun, and entertaining, and made me care about the characters. I'm actually itching to see it again.
And as I expected, the rendering was gorgeous. Some really good particle effects, near photorealistic camera motion, depth of field, bloom, etc. And of course, Wall-e was extremely well animated- he pretty much only says his name and the other robot's name, and yet he communicates to the viewer extremely well.

May want to put that opinion aside, because I just saw it and loved it. It felt really uplifting.

Cool, except one thing. Finding Nemo was not that good. I mean it was pretty good, but stupid ass kids basically beat that shit into the ground, with constant quotes and then laughing at them like it was the first time they heard it. Ugh.

E: Wall-E looks good tho.

After hearing about how good it is and all, I'm pretty curious about the movie. Definately seeing this movie sometime.

Everything you need to know?

It was made by Pixar.

That should be enough reason.

If I was a person who jacked off to Crysis screenshots then perhaps, but I don't go to the movies for wonderful graphics. I'm looking for character and story. Tell you what, though, I'll pre-emptively end any flaming and arguments that might ensue by exiting the thread, since it obviously isn't for me.

Wall-E was made by Apple, no wonder he was glitchy. (he does the Mac startup sound after he recharges his solar cells)

I was planning on seeing this movie since the first time I saw a commercial for it. For one, it looked really entertaining. For another, it looked like it had really good graphics. I can't wait to see it. Probably sometime within the week.

Could have something to do with Steve Jobs being on the board of directors for Disney

Steven Paul Jobs (February 24 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_24), 1955 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1955)) is the co-founder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Co-founder), Chairman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chairman), and CEO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_executive_officer) of Apple Inc (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Inc). In 1986 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1986), he acquired the computer graphics division of Lucasfilm Ltd (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucasfilm) which was spun off as Pixar Animation Studios (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixar).[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_jobs#cite_note-Pixar_History_1986-6) He remained CEO (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CEO) and majority shareholder until its acquisition by the Walt Disney Company (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Walt_Disney_Company) in 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006).[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_jobs#cite_note-Apple_2006-1) Jobs is currently the Walt Disney Company's largest individual shareholder and a member of its Board of Directors (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Board_of_Directors)[8] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_jobs#cite_note-DisneyBuysPixar-7)[9] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_jobs#cite_note-8).

I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time, probably a bit due to my liking for robotics, and since the graphics look amazing as well. All the positive reviews make me want to see it even more, so I'll hopefully see it soon enough.

This sort of thing tears at me. On the one hand, I really want to watch it right now, and know exactly where to go to get it (beside the movie theater, and I can't go there cause I don't have a car and the public transportation here fails). On the other hand, I loved it, and want to show my support for the people who made it so that they might continue making thinks like it, and it would be a massive backstab to them to do the morally deficient thing.

If they would just release the dang DVD already instead of waiting a few months like they always do, I wouldn't be having this problem.

I'll take the moral high ground and try to be patient, and maybe go see it again if I have time (Same goes for Iron Man). You hear that, Pixar? I support you! >=O

Haven't seen it, but I expect highly of this movie as it is a Pixar film.

Pixar movies are supposed to appeal to all ages, even adults in their forties. Think of the ever-improving CGI as a bonus...

I took my friend Jessie to it yesterday, she and I both loved it.

What I thought was funny is how it was half cute... and half PSA hahaha.

I was actually pretty impressed by it.. I'm not usually a fan of pixar movies but wow. Almost jerked a tear from me here and there.

Also, I dig the style of the robots. Remind anyone else of Portal?

That's why when your friends invite you, like my friends did, you show up stoned as all hell wearing a pair of aviators with your other, stoned, shades-wearing amigo.

Awesome movie, even though my opinion's not worth much. :-3

My sense of time was wobbling around throughout the movie, so that first half took 2 hours and and the second half took 30 minutes. still cool.
