HALO Themed Music Compilation

I'm going to be setting up a "database" of HALO themed tunes on my FTP server tomorrow. I really like the HALO theme music (as I know a lot of other people do as well), so I'm setting this up for the community's benefit.

At the moment I'm just thinking of having a couple of different FTP accounts (uploader and downloader accounts), I'll give the uploader information to community members that have a respectable history, or who have contributed to the HALO music department in some way (*cough* mothergoat *cough*).

With that said I would also like to create a comprehensive "database" page on my website (http://lancersedge.exofire.net) (not that clan page in particular though). This way, people don't have to sift through the contents of an FTP folder to find the exact file they're looking for. I will welcome community members to give me some suggestions on how to link a "database" page on that website to my personal FTP server.

Anyhow, the first step will be to setup the FTP accounts and distribute uploader accounts to respectable people. From there I'll personally setup a basic web page that links to the downloads and has some basic information on the tunes. After that is all said and done I'll attempt to get some type of a scripted page going...

You're welcome to post any thoughts or sugesstions here in the mean time.

Yea, that's what I have so far (OCRemix songs were the ones that inspired me)... I'm just working on a page for them right now.

heh.. i've occasionally messed around with mixing songs, never thought to do it with halo music, might give it a shot if im bored enough one day heh, sounds cool though.


E: The marathon (Forerunner songs) remixes with halo songs are really good from that OCremixes site XD I like them a lot...

I LOVE Krispy's "Insurrection". Fantastic mix, and it just happened to start playing when i saw the OCremix link. :awesome:
