Script Errors

I recently reformatted my computer so I could begin modding again, and I wanted to edit the scripts for the silent cartographer, specifically making the intro an entire cutscene (so original rite), I rescript it and add some brutes into the beach insertion just to test if my theory is right. I go ingame and my scripts completely dont work and I just randomly spawn in the middle of the beach and there's nobody there.

I even reverted to the old scripts to see if that works. I have NOT reverted to the old scenario which by my guess would work.

Any help?

That usually happens when you have a completely new scenario (either ripped or yours) The new scenario doesnt already contain the scripts that are in the scripts folder thats for it in the data folder. To fix, just compile the scripts.

A small error, I had that happen to me once :p

Wait, the scripts go into the data or tags folder?

I was putting it in the tags folder the whole time :|

How am I derailing? It's a legit question. I'm baffled how you can like, actually learn to script, and not know how to compile them. Since when has ANYTHING not a tag gone in the tags folder. You see Bungie made it simple. There's data, where work done in external programs go, and tags, where anything thats gone through HEK goes.

It's you who takes everything as an insult, if you weren't so fucking insecure, and could keep a cool head, you wouldn't be the butt end of everyones jokes.

FRain I don't see what the fuck you are freaking about. Just place your scripts in the data folder.
