Yeah, my bday was a month ago, but I was only able to just now pick one up. It's pretty sweet, I must say. I got the 16GB black. I was eligible for an upgrade as of 4 days ago, so I got the nice discounted price =)

I have one to, fully unlocked :) I'm still waiting though for some decent unlocking tools for the 2.0 firmware. (I'm now running 1.1.4).

As far as I know, 3G's are harder to unlock.

Unlock ≠ Jailbreak

3G iPhone will not be unlocked for some time, software-wise. It has already been jailbroken by the Dev Team.

Mine is both unlocked and jailbroken (I don't have the 3G version though). Like DG said 3G are harder to unlock.

Typing this from my iPod Touch. This thing is so useful. And I don't have to pay $60 a month for it!

Apparently, iPod Touches can spell "this". :-3

Amazing tools these phones are...

Anyone else has horrible reception on their iphone? I'm unlocked in Costa Rica and I get pretty bad reception

But I pay 2 colones per sms, and 500 colones is a dollar, and phone calls and edge are extremly cheap down here so I cant really complain that much about the service

I want an iPhone, but 199$ phone + 36.95$ activation + 60$ for 300 minutes/plan thingy (cheapest) + 20$ unlimited text = ;_; ~315$
