Seen it. Awesome movie, though it seems they crammed a hell of a lot in it. Also, scenes in Hong Kong were lulz, since everybody in the theater was all "woah cool" when they saw it (seeing as we're in Hong Kong and all)

Rachel Dawes dies - or so I heard

Gonna see it on Saturday. I live in the Pacific Time Zone so it's still the 17th here. I have CAS volunteering and other stuff on Friday (tomorrow) so I won't be able to get any tickets on the debut, but it's probably a good thing since the crowds will be significantly smaller on Saturday than on Friday.

lulz Reaper, you're 15 hours ahead of me.

Can't wait! For the time being, Mark Hamill is still the best Joker for me (voice in animated series), but that decision may change on Saturday.

Just got home from it, yes, fucking awesome. Best movie of the summer by far, and one of the best I've seen tbh.

Lots of people have been saying "Is it better than Iron Man?" Well imo, yes it is, by far. Dark night had some amazing dialogue which bypassed Iron Man's, just to name one thing that was better.

Films like this one are the reason I love Film so much.

Consider this post a recommendation from a guy who hates movies more than /b/ hates Apple. Any movie that can make an adult cry from clown fright gets an 11/10 in my book. (No, it wasn't me.)

The Joker in this movie is batshit insane. I loved every minute of it. It actually makes me feel bad about joking so much at Ledger's death.

If you haven't seen this movie, go. Go now. Why the fuck are you still reading this, leave the computer and go NOW. Even if the theater isn't open. Nothing a crowbar can't solve.

This movie was awesome. Anyone who has not seen it should get off their ass and see it. Heath was awesome as the Joker. Two-Face was done well in my opinion as well. The deep voice Batman annoyed me a little bit but everything else made up for that.
I personally hated Batman Begins, then again I never really liked the Scarecrow as the villain. This destroys Batman Begins no doubt in my opinion.

You know Christian Bale, who stars as Bruce Wayne?

Well, one of the trailer before the movie started showed that Bale will play John Connor in Terminator: Salvation, due in 2009, and it'll be set entirely in the future this time. (end off topic).

Btw, the Batmobile was kickass, especially when it turned itself into the Batpod after suffering "catastrophic" damage, similar to how the Batmobile turned itself into a small rocket in Batman Returns to fit through a narrow alley. I want a car like that.

I could try to name my favorite parts, but I can't. The entire movie, it is filled with them. I have to watch this again, and soon.
The pencil.
"You don't watch the news much, do you Mr. Wayne?"
"...And you're trying to bribe him?"
BATPOD. OFF THE WALL. SPIN.
Truck flip.
Tumbler sequences (Loiter/Intimidate, self-destruct)
Nurse Joker. All of it.
"What did you guys call me when I was in Internal Affairs? Say it. ....SAY IT" (brix shat)
"You're lucky. He's not." *buckles seatbelt*
Ferries, tossing the detonator out the window.
Also the pencil.

Joker is getting all the love, but Eckhart (especially), Oldman, and Bale also did fantastic jobs.

Saw it last Saturday, freaking incredible!

The Joker had me terrified minutes into the movie, Heath really perfected the voice, facial expression and pose, he really set the bar high with this one. I don't think anyone will be able to top his performance.

But I still don't know why people praise Jack Nicholson's performance so highly, it seemed sub-par to me. :\

You wouldn't be able to tell it was Ledger if you didn't know prior. Unbelievable.

It's just a voice modifier, the type that might be used in tandem with Halloween costumes. I used to have something like that and I sounded like Darth Vader when speaking through it.

That's why Batman's voice sounds so hoarse. Obviously there is a modifier built into his cowl.

all three at the same time? What, did he play a character with mpd or something?

Since Ledger died, they had to redo some things. His character goes through different dimensions and his appearance changes as he goes through them

Going to be a mad rush to get in, all the schools are now off =\ Damn 12A movies!

Just saw it, was awesome, but I still don't get why there's a manhunt for Batman. srysly, that made me hate Spiderman as a kid.

I do kind of wish though that rather than just bringing and killing Two Face in the same movie, they made another movie to allow for him to have more time for character development.

Heath Ledger must get an award of some kind for his performance... it was so good.

Wow, that was fucking awesome. Joker stole the show for me, really didnt rate batmans performance, sure the fighting was sweet but cmon...

I loved the part where batman morphed out onto the batpod/bike, and when he drove it into the wall, then up and flipped around, that was sick.

Sadly I couldnt get in the mood for the film though, people in audience were so fucking distracting. I have to see the film again soon, usually I get drawn in on all movies.

Spoiler ensuesI don't think that was a funeral at the end of the film, I'm fairly sure it was just to honour Harvey Dent.

I disagree, how many times can you watch a guy flip a coin and kill someone? It's boring and repetitive. Christopher Nolan did a brilliant job, the Joker by far was the best villain to choose for an entire movie.

Excellent movie, if you haven't seen it yet your missing out.

Just drove back from seeing it. It was a great movie. Wonderful performance from Heath, and good acting in general.

If it was somebody else playing the joker then it wouldn't have been as good. This movie REALLY justified Ledger's death and I'm planning to get it on DVD.

Gather round children, let me tell you a tale.

It was absolutely fuckign ridiculous trying to get to this movie, and after 4 attempts i finally got there, and it was fucking awesome.

1. Me Dano, his GF and her friends sposed to be going at 12. i ring him at 11 and apparently theres been a change of plans and dane and his GF's family are all going together.

2. my sister wanted to go, at 3pm, so we decided to go as a family, me, my mate, my 2 parents, my sister and her Bf.
My dad wanted to go to the cinema in Kyogle cause it had better seats and less people, and he pushed until we went there. taht meant an extra half an hour drive for my sister to see it.
My sister couldnt contact her BF and decided to drive home to get him to go, but by the tie she did that, she didnt have enough time to get to the movies with us. Meanwhile on our end, not a single person is ready to go. and i shove everyone in the car and take off like a bat out of hell down the back streets to get to the cinemas in time.
we get there, only to find out taht nikkita couldnt make it, and my dad screwed up the time, and it's on 3pm sunday.
great an hour in the car wasted.

3. I call my mate to go at 10 past 6 and rock up to his house at 10 to 6.
he's not ready and by the time we get to the cinema the line was so long it was going to take 20 minutes to get a ticket, so we'd miss the firstr 10 minutes of the movie.

4. Rang my other mate he was goign with the family on trip number 2 and decided to go to the 9pm showing.
we get to the cinema half an hour early, and have a blast watching the movie.
and walk out the front doors at 12pm.

It took 12 hours, and 4 attmeps with 11 different people but i finally got to the movie.
it was worth it.

I thought it was filmed in NY, shows what I know

I loved the nurse joker, everyone was laughing like hell in the cinema. Also the picture of Lincoln in the "Wanted Suspects" section was hilarious.
