Go here (http://movies.ign.com/dor/objects/826378/quantum-of-solace/videos/quantum_sol_trlr1_070308.html). If the IGN high-res version takes a long time to load, then just wait as it's worth it.

Casino Royale was a tough act to follow, but it looks like Quantum of Solace is living up to the standards. It's only a teaser so I can't really say. The stunt where Bond swings down a rope, grabs a gun, and shoots a baddie is damn cool. I'm glad to see that this movie will feature more death-defying stunts than Casino Royale.

Also, the Aston Martin DBS returns, and this time it's in a REAL car chase according to this teaser - the location appears to be mainland Europe, possibly wherever Mr. White's estate is. The teaser doesn't show whether the DBS has any gadgets on it (and I doubt there will be), but who cares.

For the uninformed, Quantum of Solace will be a direct sequel to Casino Royale - this is a first for the Bond franchise, as previously, no two Bond films had any real plot connection. Wikipedia says it will feature Bond fighting against a madman (also part of Mr. White's organization) who is threatening to take over the water supply in some remote country.

The man being interrogated in the beginning of the trailer is Mr. White, who is a high-ranking member of some big criminal organization. At the very end of Casino Royale, Bond shot him in the leg, then stood over him and uttered his trademark phrase. Looks like Bond managed to successfully take White into custody.

I gotta say, Batman Begins and Casino Royale are my 2 most favorite movies. To have both of their sequels come out this year is :awesome:. From the looks of things, I except both sequels to be more amazing.

HE PUNCHED THAT WOMAN FOR NOT MAKING HIM SUPPER

I LIKE HIS STYLE!

On a serious note, I liked Pierce Brosnan as bond a lot better than this guy.

I remember seeing Mamma Mia on stage in Toronto. It was dope, in its own way. Also, this movie looks cool. Wish they weren't going for a pseudo-sequel to Casino Royale, though...

Yeah, I feel that this is an unnecessary break with the Bond tradition of having no direct plot connection between any 2 movies. It would've been more interesting to leave Mr. White's fate at the end of Casino Royale to speculation.

Looks like Bond once again uses a UMP-9 smg in addition to his main Walther P99 pistol (aka my favorite handgun).

Well, I've seen this trailer a good while back, and I'm interested to see how well a direct sequel will work. I just hope that there are more gadgets in this one, since the lack of them in Casino Royale was a little disappointing.

Yeah, I'd like to see more gadgets, except that I don't want something cheesy like a laser cutter built into a wristwatch or something. That was cool in the '90s, but lame in the days of 21st-century espionage. Something more akin to Sam Fisher's gear would fit better with Daniel Craig's Bond. I can imagine Bond throwing Sticky Shockers or stabbing someone with a pencil that actually has a razor-sharp solid steel "lead."
