I currently work at Washington Sports Club as a Front Desk Associate. The hours are great and the pay is decent ($8.00 an hour which happens to be over the average people get paid for Front Desk here). I personally like the fact that I'm around an area that has what I'm studying. I'm currently studying Exercise Science and have been interested in being a personal trainer or maybe even a coach. It's been a pretty fun experience so far as I've met some cool people and even talking with the trainers there have given me some information that would be very helpful in the long run. :)
Definitely a much better job than Kohl's. Worked there for close to two years and personally hated it haha.

So what about you guys?

If my interview goes well 2 hours from now, I'll be working for Best Buy in Geek Squad. Better than my last job as a Target cashier. That job was shit.

EDIT- The interview was shit. Guess I'll be sticking to the job below.

EDIT 2- The local Music and Arts just called me. Apparently a friend who works there gave them my information, and they liked what they saw. I go to that interview this Thursday.

Oh, and I also do composing/transposing/recording for my school's music-related events.

I like it when I'm working as a Network admin. When I have to play toy soldier or that other bullshit is when I hate my job. So somewhat

Ahaha, Geek Squad wants $160CAD up here in Toronto just install Microsoft Office Home and Student for you which is only a $100CAD program set. All you do is insert the disc and press install, like come on, how stupid do you need to be to get ripped off like that. Oh well, I heard their router installations are generally reliable, but overpriced.

I clean up plazas up town. :gonk:

It actually isn't that bad of a job, it just doesn't require enough hours for me to get paid enough money for gas. Next summer I need to find a different job.

I love bragging about my job (because it is so awesome, you know), but for some reason now that I am invited to brag about it, I feel compelled not to whore it. Just the facts, then: I do web development and 3D modeling/visualization for my Dad's company, working from whatever location strikes my fancy.
