Earthquakes happen every so often in CA. I didn't feel this one, but I'm up by SF.
Can't wait for one to happen while I'm in my swivel chair, since I just got it :D

So i was sitting in bed today at 12:43 thinking, "You know, in the next two or so minutes, something really sweet should happen to get my out of bed"
12:45--aftershock of the earthquake. I sat there in bed, "hmm, thats pretty sweet, but i think ill just stay in bed"
Nothing else happened. I was let down, and woke up two hours later.

Really, i've done so many crazy things, that not much freaks me out. I think the only thing that could make me scared was finding out i have a child.

I live in Texas. We don't get any fancy natural disasters, all we get is heat.

Compare this to other Natural Disasters. (http://www.conservation.ca.gov/index/Earthquakes/Pages/qh_earthquakes_Calbigones.aspx) People claiming California isn't a choicy place to live because of Earthquakes make me laugh. I appreciate the ignorance though because I'd like housing to go down a little.

ummmm, texas has twisters. and hail, but the latter isn't much of a problem in the places I've seen

I have tried. They get all angry and PC on me. Tbh most people in Louisiana thought they were idiots. They had PLENTY of warnings to get the hell out of there. Most who lost anything could have avoided it. Hell, most of them evacuated to towns like mine and a few of my friends are evacuees. They think much the same way as me.
