Can it be done, and if so how? I found one website, but they suggested a $20 program, so I would much rather try to avoid that. Anyway, thanks in advance for ideas and or solutions.

Is it a wired controller?

MS does have a driver you can download to get it to interface with the PC. I got it working on a PC football game, not sure if WMC has the ability though, you shouldnt need to pay anything though.

No it's wireless. I have it running through the microsoft wireless gadget thing... (can't remember what it's called right now). I don't have a problem with the controller, I have all the drivers installed (well all one of them). I just wanted to know if I could use the 360 controller like the 360 remote. Only for Media Center on the PC.

Yes.

"To add media, select My Videos, My Pictures, or My Music. If you're using an Xbox 360 controller, press X. If you're using a media remote, press Info. Select the option to add media, and then browse the folders and add the media you want to access from your console."

Plug it in and start it up? That's what it sounds like...

I swear to god Kevin, I'm gonna throw a large object at your head. No, it's not that god damn simple. If it was it would have worked. I'm not dumb.
