how (if possible) can you make a really simple elevator like the one in ivory tower. If it is "extremely" complicated you dont have to bother. Thanks

Edit the converyer belt maybe?

u mean like make a conveyor belt with a extrusion attached to it?

*edit: wait that wont work, the extrusion wouldnt move. Huh...

Can't be done if it involves any moving geometry. You can only make conveyor belts for now.

Is there no way to make animated scenery at all?

seems rather limited for the blam2 engine to be customised at all... *hails Bungie for really limiting opportunity*

maybe someone will make a new mapmaker for H2 vista, that has all the things you can do in the Halo editing kit, and more.

Yes it can. Device machines work in multiplayer and sync as far as I know.

Yeah i've messed with the machine tags many times and it only resulted in error and failure. Infact alot of the custom tags are hard if possible to set up. The only one i almost perfected was rain.

hmm, Manually extract the tag from shared.map and all other resources, and then compile the map with unused tags that are exactly the same size, replace the tags then change the references to tags needed in the elevator by hex to the new files, and then hope it works?
