Lets say I'm in the market for a sketchpad. Drawing Pad. What ever you wanna call it. Now lets say I dont want to spend much....not much more than $120 or so. Now lets say i would like it kind of big but also decent quality. Could you help?

For a decent one, that is cheap like Kalub said eBay, although you do run the risk it doesnt work.

Wacom is the best out there, there isnt many decent brands. Sadly new Wacoms cost a ton.

^Haven't tried that one, but it looks pretty good. Low resolution, but it's not like you need giant real estate when working with those anyways.

^My personal favorite. Fits comfortably in your lap, has a nice and high resolution while retaining a widescreen aspect ratio. Perfect buy.

^Monster Cintiq. This thing is too big in my opinion and the 4:3 aspect ratio doesn't help. It does work well as a monitor where you occaisionally need the touch functionality, though. If you're doing that, you'll want a different mount. The most vertical this thing gets with the default stand is like 60 degrees.

The oldschool touch pads will get you where you're wanting, but I cant really recommend it. After using an Intuos for a while and then moving on to a Cintiq, I honestly wondered what Wacom was doing by still selling them.

A lot cheaper than the wacoms, but just as good, and bigger too

The Cintiq's are sexy, with the screen it really helps.

I have the wacom 9x12 but I've seen decent review on the vistablet.

I'm about to get a new one, but I actually use adesso, come pretty cheap as you get, but work well.

Yes. I'm telling him he needs to get something else.

Yeah I got a brand new Wacom Graphire 4 off eBay for like $80. The guy bulk bought a bunch and resold them I guess.

Oh and please, the tablet I got is wonderful. You really don't need to be going around spending 2 grand on one unless you're using it for a full-time job or something. Money wasted.
