View Full Version : Damn Glitchy Destroyed Effect Hath Thwarted me!

I'm trying to make a projectile that explodes when you shoot it so i set up a tag that looks like this.

But when you shoot the projectile and it detonates it creates like a ton of the same detonation effect really fast causeing the game to lag out and leaving like 30 or 40 explosion decals on the ground. Its really annoying and i cant figure out how to force it to only create 1 explosion effect when its destroyed. Any help is appreciated.

Well whats happening is the blast radius from the original is hurting the others, so its making a chain reaction. As to how this is fixed... :/

Ummmm that makes no sense though the projectile should have deleted itself by the time the explosion comes around... So why would it chain react?

Try putting the effect as a body destroyed effect, rather than a body depleted effect.

PM Mook...I think he did this a while back with the UT3 weapons he did. Or even just download his pack and look at it.
