i made this map inside sketchup

my questions are

1.how must i define sky/ground/wall

when i export from sketchup the programm generates a folder with the texture and the 3ds file but:

2.why cant i see them in 3dsmax

3 must i put the textures into s special folder before i try to export the map (as .ass)

You've got to go into Max's material editor and set the directory for each bitmap.

how can i reset/ set the id of any material?
when i use the "set id" botton max only selects the material with that id

select the faces of what you're wanting to set a material ID to then in the set ID box, enter the number and press enter.
