My (real) new car

I posted a while ago about a blue tiburon, but after having full intentions to buy it, it fell through..

Anyway:

This one is actually mine. I bought it yesterday: $5000 on craigslist

Its a 1990 Cheverolet Camaro Z28 Iroc..
350 TPI V8 motor (about 245 horsepower stock)
4 speed auto (I cant complain here...)
FlowMaster Exhaust system
Power Locks
Power windows
Cruise Controll
Working cold A/C
bose premium sound package (decent, but my 2 12" blaupunkts and pioneer 760watt amp would be better)
No dings/dents/scratches at all. Not a single one.
No dash cracks/plastic cracks
Fresh paint about a year ago...
Absolutely no rattles/squeaks (how is this possible??)
Not a single rust spot in/under the car
condition is almost immaculate minus needing new window tinting and the door hande rubber is starting to curve from heat.
138k, but runs strong, shifts strong, no funny noisesI am averaging 20mpg if i drive it nicely....

My dad has had 17 camaros in his lifetime and knows these front to back....and also comes from a mechanic family....so labor is null..

Also, insurance is remarkably cheaper on this vehicle than on my old 1995 ford escort (packing a whopping 1.8L 4-cylender with 90hp!)

TBH I don't really care. I think a car is a car and a car should get you from point A to point B efficiently and if it can do that with a little comfort then it's therefore a good car.

People take them too seirously IMO. (in before HERASY)

Nice car man, I remember when I got my first car. Don't have the name on the top of my head but it was an ok car while it lasted. Problems started when it kept over heating. Got to the point where my parents decided to sell it (wasn't worth much haha) and got me a Honda Civic 2005. I love it, drives nicely and had very low mileage on it (less than 3000 when we got it last year). It's auto but I actually prefer autos over manuals to be quite honest. That's just me.

Anyway nice Car! I want something like a late 80's, early 90's Camaro or Firebird, but my parents keep saying insurence would be way too expensive.

Steak 'n Shake....its a shit job...but pays well...

and insurance is cheap for this car...which is one reason we bought it.

I pay the same for this car that I paid for a 1995 Ford Escort LX with a 90hp 1.8L 4 cylinder motor....
