View Full Version : [Request] Halo PC Multiplayer_Hit_sound_Volume

I know that this forum is mostly for Custom edition, however Gearbox's CE forum is dead and I have basically nowhere else to ask this.

Basically, I'm used to playing Halo CE with Multiplayer_hit_sound_Volume all the way up. So when I play PC, I feel almost like I lost one of my senses and it makes it really wierd to play and find my lead.

Naturally, Rec0 being the sexy guy he is, released an application that did this for me.

Now, naturally, the application broke because of the patch, and playing Halo PC is a pain for me. I was wondering if there were any magical programmers who could try to recreate this application.


It would be very, very much appreciated.

Wow never heard of it... well i found the topic at gearbox but now i'm wondering can I has this broken app... I kinda collect halo pc and ce apps...

Is this app public, or was this made especially for you?

Its public, I always thought it made the CE sound louder.

Halo PC? Eww. Knowing rec0 he did some sly things to get it to work.

Well, here's the application.

Once run, you can do the console command for multiplayer_hit_sound_volume, however since breaking, it basically crashes you whenever you join a server with people.

You could've googled 'HaloPCHitSound' (3 results come up). =P

This is for PC. It gives you the same abilities as the CE function.

I'll take a look but cant promise anything. His topic is on GBX I think, I'd get the link but yeah, still IP banned.
