After playing a few games of Halo then moving on to F.E.A.R, I found myself thinking "are there any games that don't attract this type of idiot?"
My question is; which game has the best team-mates?
Halo is (well, the Australian part of it) full of elitist fuckwits and children who think insulting everyone in the server is cruise control.
F.E.A.R is a bit better, I've met alot of cool people on it, and the team seems to know to get out of your road when you have rockets.

Team fortress 2 by far.
It has an uncanny ratio of mature players to immature players, which may be to do with the fact that the game requires teamwork.

Team Fortress classic probably had the best type of players. I miss the old days of Half-life...the sounds, the graphics, the voting system where G-Man would be like "Time to choooose".

I would have to say that you should stop playing online. Its always gonna be that way. Some people just suck.

If you're able to find a good connection in Call of Duty 4 (ie end up with New Zealand/Australian players), then you're generally in for a good time. What i've found playing late nights on my 360 :p

Yeah, I've noticed TF2 is one of the better games in terms of Team-mates.

I haven't played TF2 in a few months. Maybe I should fire it up but it's mostly Lone Wolf action for me. I generally spend my time as an independent (spy, scout, soldier). I do like to be a medic for short periods of time and the pyro is fun as a support and defensive role.
Call of duty is a piece of shit game for finding people to interact with intelligently. F.E.A.R. I haven't played in probably a year or more, maybe I should dust off the case or just re-download F.E.A.R. Combat.
I find that The Lord of the Rings Online has probably the best community base I've ever seen. I have yet to meet even a single person that has acted rudely to me or anyone else. Everyone is helpful in that game. It astounds me...even as the player base grows. But I really only play on one server- Nimrodel-out of 10 or 11 of the game. I play sometimes on Landroval because Freelancer set me up a character there because that's the server he plays on but I'm not willing to give up my current character on Nimrodel.

CoD4, Natural Selection, or DoD:S have some good teammates watching your back. I'd say Natural Selection has the best but it's an ultra-team based game and if you don't have good team cohesion, you fail.

DOD:S is a fucking good game to gain some buds and excellent teammates, especially on the Omaha v32 server. I've gotten 5 new friends out of that server.

I dunno about CoD4 for PC, but for 360, it's basically like playing with bots..

Not to mention it requires a decent (but not excessive) computer to run it, something which the console tard wannabes Kiddies cant aford on there own.
And i sure as hell wouldnt let my kid play games if he exerted any of that bullshit on my my expensive of love <3

One thing you guys aren't mentioning is how TF2 can be keyboard-breakingly frustrating when the other team is organized and coordinated but yours isn't.

Enemy Territory: Quake wars has the best 'pub' teammates I've ever played with. You never get an idiot spamming a crappy VOIP mic, and you always get people that know what to do and know how to play the game.
Also, maybe America's Army because you have to go through training... but.. that game is... meh

I wouldn't be too suprised you found this, but if you really do have trouble with team mates, start making full team parties. I know this doesn't feature on most games but, if you're playing halo, cod or any game with a party function, use it, because you'll find games alot funner. Classes and tatical games make the game spicy.
If your teammates are complete idiots, and you're on live, just mute them. I know it can get screwy, I've got incredably bad rep just for winning a game without talking to my teammates. I'm sure I'm unsporting when I don't even talk makes alot of sense, especially when I play the games objective, that's an obvious example of trash talk, according to some players on live. :downs:
if you don't know where I'm going with this, the community on live fucking SUCKS. Don't get caught up with them if you use a mic.

TF2. Even the whinny sounding kids play as a team (most of the time).
