View Full Version : NBC Uses Halo Music for Olympics

Around 11:14 AM EDT, I was watching the Olympics. NBC does these short segments for select people before some competitions, especially for those who are in it for something greater than winning. As a tribute to Otylia Jędrzejczak, they produced a segment on her contributions and history. The music used in the background was immediately familiar to me. The song was Unforgotten from Halo 2. I rushed to the record button as fast as I could, but by that time the segment was nearing conclusion. Link to the video follows.

Woah I remember watching that and the song was very familiar but I never thought it was actually from halo. WOAH!

Nice, somebody's a fan of Halo...not that those are hard to find. Maybe this is a secret message that's meant to say that Halo should be a sport played in the Olympics.
I'm kidding about the Halo being an Olympic sport part

Ever wonder why it's called MSNBC news?

(FYI: The other half is owned by General Electric)

The Olympics I believe are on the Microsoft half... hence the whole NBC-Silverlight crap.

Yeah, I was like WTF? I thought it was MSNBC cuz Microsoft knocked them up.
