I just wanted to ask this, as it seemed, well damned odd that its allowed. Anyways, I was able to purchase Windows Vista Ultimate x32 OEM from the same place as I bought my new computer parts from. They seem to be selling it to anyone who wants it. I thought that this was illegal unless you were certified system builder or something... Since its "Intended for system builders ONLY".
On the box it even says:
"If the individual software license is for a desktop operating system or application software, it also must be preinstalled on the hard drive of the fully assembled computer system, using the OEM Preinstallation Kit (OPK)."
What gives, am I classified as a system builder because I'm buiding my own PC? Because I got my copy for like $240.
