Ive only played one Metroid game. Metroid 2 Return of Samus. The game was in b/w so you cant blame me for not knowing :P

Also... when I first saw it... there has to be like, no ventilation... so that looks like it has to get sweaty, and if it's made out of anything that's rubber related, that's gotta be a pain to get out of.

It was kind of nice when you could only assume that she was a babe under the armor. It was sort of like the movie jaws, you don't see the monster but that only makes it scarier. I'd always hoped she would have dark hair too..

She doesn't have the right proportions for the Varia suit. She would either need an INSANE corset on underneath, or have ridiculously large breasts so that her waist LOOKS smaller.

This is the Samus I like. When she took off her helmet at the end of Prime 1 it was exactly how I imagined her to look. Hardcore, badass bounty hunter with a touch of sadness. Super peppy happy blonde anime slut in fanservice suit will never be Samus to me :\

That was my thought as well; Prime 2/ZM just ruined it.

All it does is give crappy fanfiction writers another excuse to include more sex. Not that I read that stuff or anything.

You know what I never got? Isn't her armor like, bonded to her skeleton or something? How does the Zero Suit Samus even make sense in that context? She wouldn't be wearing a suit under all that armor because all that's under the armor is internal organs, bones, and other stuff that humans need to survive...

Well her armour is supposed to be linked to her nervous system (like power armour) which is how she controls it. It also monitors life signs and has several life saving functions. I'd always pictured that with her armour off she would have some ugly assed scars down her back and on her hands where it connects.

In prime its just a body suit.

Actually, if you even beat the original Metroid fast enough, she still takes off her suit. It's been like that since the beginning. My guess is that the Zero Suit is the part that's bonded to her, and that the actual armor is just sort of attached to that, but not permanently.

And, fun fact: Nintendo actually made Samus' boobs bigger in Metroid Zero Mission so that the game would sell well. (So I heard...)

No, it only had to be surgically removed in Fusion because she wasn't conscious and thus couldn't will it to detach from her nervous system.
