So who remembers the good old days of Haloimpulse, back when Halo CE was just released and PC modding was at it's highest?

I personally remember staying up until 3am in the morning waiting for Masterz to send me CMT SP1 so that I could upload it (and play it before every one else, of course) and get all the required images and such.

Yeah I remember the good old days listening to everyone constantly debate the minor differences between the Halo Engine and the Unreal engine. As well as yell at gearbox to make the tools more like unreal ed so they could make a better boxmap.

I remember looking at Halo 2 pics of zanzibar on google when I found haloimpulse and H2CE zanzibar. I said oh my god...that is awesome! I want!

Ahh, the goodtimes. I was fresh out of Halomods Academy when I first set my eyes on the beauty of the Impulse. Of course, that's where my interest in what CMT was doing shot up like a pre-teen's morning wood. It was a nice and peaceful place. Kind of like a Shrine. Except when SPV1 came along..oh boy did that place fill up like a free buffet.

I remember teekup showing me his attempt at modeling :-3 back during those days. And I remember way before CMT was around when actual decent maps came out with talent...and a few completely random maps that were ugly, pointless but for some reason had the most entertaining shit in them.

That's way back. Back when maps like Fissure Falls, Wartorn Cove, Cliffhanger, Quagmire, ect. were at the top of their game...

Yea... The {HI} clan was awesome back when it was at it's peak... Hellfire needs to play more, but unfortunately he's moving for University in about a week.

I also remember that everyone was constantly trying to beat STLRamsFans ridicules arcade scores...

Haloimpulse has such an awesome fast connection though, I could download the whole Halo CE installer in like 5 minutes.

There's still lots of players... but they're split between 2 versions and across the board most of them suck. :\
