Help, I'm addicted to Facepunch

So it's the first week of school, and so far I have not done any of my homework until a half-assed attempt at around 12:30 at night, every night. Considering how I wake up at 6:30 to catch the bus, this is BAD. Very often, I miss a few assignments. Right now, I have a missed assignment for every class, and one test I think I'm getting a C on.

I'm in full-fucking-Honors classes, including one AP class. I am not one to take my homework lightly.

So what happened? Facepunch.

I think I've been overstimulated- Posts occur within seconds, and I feel like I MUST read all of those posts, and respond when I can.

In fact, I've stopped coming to this group as often (:() because of Facepunch.

Somebody help, I can't go through the school year like this- I'm a straight-A student and I can't let myself or my parents down like this :(

Throttling your bandwith probably won't help as then you'll be able to give in and turn it up again easily.

Needs to be something harder.

If you have a good router, you'd be able to do it through there. If you need a simple way of doing it, then try this Firefox plugin:

Seeing that school has already begun for you, thus locking you into the year schedule, my suggestion is to develop a serious psychological problem, one that will excuse your sudden decline of work ethic. Worked for my freshman year.

Sure, you can get around this "protection" if you REALLY want to. But a simple reminder that says "no internet for you now" is normally enough to get you back to work.
