3Ds Max 9, Help!

ok well i just got done downloading 3ds max 9 like 10min ago and now i get this :(

plz help me cause i got a video tutorial on how to become a really modeler (thx to legnire (srry idk how to spell ur name but he knows i call him the best) and i wante to try to do the tutorial but my 3ds max 8 trial expired so i downlaoded number 9 and i get that error with the DLL how do i fix it? or can maybe some1 send me theres so i can relace it if thats the problem

btw because of his my 3ds max 9 is all fucked up because everytime i click or do anything it goes all white and shit and its very annoying i had this same problem with Gmax but Gmax sucks so i had 3ds max and now i got the same problem :(

does having vista have anything to do with this?
