I have it on CD. I got it like 8 years ago. It was awesome. Not I don't have to inmstall it from the cd and mess around with all the compatibility issues! Yay!

I've got C&C The First Decade, which of course has RA1, but also has the Counterstrike and Aftermath missions, which take the game up a notch in skill level, as well as multiplayer strategies. In other words, cool for you but whatever for me.

Aftermath was like the best thing that happened to Red Alert. Like I said before, the music completeted the game...the story, the atmosphere, the music, it all blends together so brilliantly...

I played this along time ago on a friend's comp and thought it was pretty fun. Downloading...but um, why the 'Soviet' Disk 1 and the "Allied" Disk 1?

Two different campaigns on either CD. Soviet and Allied.

Why is it fucking 500 MB for each CD?! How does that make sense? Tiberian Sun was like 100 something MB when it was installed...DOUBLE YOU TEE EFF. :v:

The movies are stored on the cds, never on the hard drive, making the file size ginormous. :v:

The games themselves are less than 100 MB

Actually if you've ever heard of mini Ra (won't post links 'cause its illegal, but less illegal now because the game is technically free) it is basically a portable version of RA that ways only a few megs and doesn't include anything besides the multiplayer portion (It was made for LAN parties). Seriously... it's about 1-5 megs. Even the version that includes the single player with no movies is about 20 megs. :v:
I'm serious about the movie files though... here's a picture of the movie file on my computer (Max uses the same file extension, which is why it says it can be opened with Max) for the original (not even Red Alert) CnC:

I wish they released Aftermath as well because most of the good mods are for Aftermath -_- and it has sick ass missions.
