Soccer transfer window, we get it a few times, right now and in January. This one is especially important because its start of the seasons so clubs try to buy players in. Its like NFL draft, but teams pay other teams millions to get the player, people hardly ever get traded.

Man City bought Robinho (Brazilian) for £32.5 million, wow, a few days back the club was in debt and having to sell players, they got bought by some Arabic rich guy and they are now the richest club in the Premier League.
